Stohrer
You absolutely must go to the oldest patisserie in Paris—in existence since 1730. The founder worked with the kings of Poland and France and is credited with creating the baba au rhum. Royalty still revels in these rich pastries and you can see images of Queen Elizabeth II stopping in on a visit. Make sure to get some goodies to go as the store is not large enough to eat in. The madeleines are amazing. Also a fun souvenir if you speak French is their cookbook.
