Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
This is a fantastic museum of military and maritime history located at pier on the Hudson River. Get up close and personal with military items such as: the USS Intrepid, the submarine USS Growler, a Concorde SST, a Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance plane, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise. On the Intrepid see how sailors lived and slept—could you sleep on those tiny bunk beds? The Intrepid even featured in the movie National Treasure. To enter the museum, if you are under 16, you have to be with an adult.
