Solomon R. Guggeneheim Museum
Just call it the Guggenheim and everyone will know what you mean. The museum moved to its current location in 1959, which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The unusual looking structure (often used as a backdrop in movies and tv shows) is sometimes affectionately (actually probably not that affectionately) called “the toilet” by locals. Come here for modern and contemporary art.
