Green Kiosks
The iconic green Paris newspaper and magazine kiosks first appeared in 1863! You can see them all around the city. Each one carries a variety of reading material based on what is popular to read in each location. A great way to learn about up-to-date Parisian life, news, and style is to grab a magazine or newspaper and gobble a pain au chocolat at a nearby cafe. (N.B.: they do sell some English language reading material).
