Frick Collection

This is a jewel of a museum set in the former Henry Clay Frick mansion. It has an incredible collection of old master paintings, antique furniture, and works of sculpture and porcelain. The museum’s collection of pieces from the 18th century is particularly impressive. The collection includes works by: Francisco Goya, Francois Boucher, Gilbert Stuart, Thomas Gainsborough, and Jean-Honore Fragonard. Even older works are by artists such as: Titian, Hans Holbein the Younger, El Greco, Velazquez, Rembrandt, and Vermeer. If you are traveling with younger siblings, please note that the museum does not allow children under ten to enter. Look out for their popular teen nights…they are free with for high school students with ID.
