Musée d’Orsay

There is a lot to see in this former Beaux-Arts railway station. If you are short on time, which will probably always be the case because the lines to get in are SO long, head straight to their Impressionist painting collection. You will not understand Paris or France if you do not see it. On the same floor is a balcony with some of the most amazing views of Paris’s right bank. Make sure you go out there and take some selfies. At the end of your visit, do not skip the gift shop.
