Pearl Rivers is a Chinese department store that went high end and moved form Chinatown to a large two floor spread in SoHo. On the ground floor are beautiful Chinese tops (they look great with jeans), Chinese shoes, and other fun related items. They also carry beautiful stationary and exquisite silk notebooks. The basement floor are items for the home. You can buy large stone dragons, gongs, and Chinese porcelain. I have always thought it would be fun to eat on Chinese style porcelain when you order Chinese take in. Their array of choices for all tastes is astounding. Just a fun idea: have a Chinese birthday party and stock up on Chinese themed items.
